Once a skater has mastered the skills up to Learn to Skate Basic 3 or ISI Beta, it's time to move on to a higher level of skating.
For skaters above Basic 3, lessons must be at least 30 minutes on Freestyle Skating sessions.
As an ISI-registered skating academy and ISI-certified Gold Judge, Coach Aimée can test skaters in official ISI tests during their lessons. This helps to provide a sense of accomplishment to skaters as they strive to reach benchmarks to take their official U.S. Figure Skating tests.
When all the skills in the Learn to Skate USA curriculum are mastered, it's time to move on to the U.S. Figure Skating formal testing structure!
Coach AImée is PSA Rated in Moves in the Field /Skating Skills and is qualified to coach skaters (Standard and Adult tracks) in Moves in the Field / Skating Skills and Singles Free Skate tests and competition to keep them moving on!
NEW: For Skaters interested in progressing in a group training environment, Coach Aimée is proud to offer ASPIRE Group Classes on Mondays at Ice Vault Arena!
Other times may be available as rinks schedules permit.
For home school children and adults with flexible hours, SportsCare Arena (Aspen Ice) and Mennen Arena also offer times throughout the day on weekdays!
A 45-minute or longer session may be required mid-days and early mornings.
